About UP Board

UPMSP, the UP Board, is the largest school board in India by a distance. More than fifty lakh students register for its Class 10 and Class 12 exams each year, a figure larger than the entire school population of most countries.

Exams run in February and March across tens of thousands of centres, with elaborate anti-copying arrangements that are themselves an annual news story. Results come in April, both classes on the same day, and the traffic in that first hour is on a scale few Indian government sites ever have to handle.
