About Suryoday Small Finance Bank

Started in 2008 as Suryoday Micro Finance out of Navi Mumbai, it took the small finance bank licence and opened for banking on 23 January 2017, one of the first of that cohort to do so. The head office has not moved from CBD Belapur.

The bank puts its customer count at over 2.8 million, weighted towards micro-finance borrowers, vehicle loan customers and small shopkeepers, and it competes hard on fixed deposit rates.
