MPBSE conducts Madhya Pradesh's High School for Class 10 and Higher Secondary for Class 12 exams, together taken by around sixteen lakh students.

The board declares both results on the same day, usually in late April or May, in a press conference where the merit lists are read out. That single announcement sends the entire state to the site within minutes.

MP also runs a second-chance Ruk Jaana Nahi scheme for students who do not clear, which brings a smaller wave of traffic later in the year.
