Piped gas for kitchens in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai and Raigad comes from Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL), which also sells CNG for vehicles. Its network now reaches Ratnagiri, Latur, Osmanabad, Chitradurga and Davanagere too.
PNG customers view and pay their bi-monthly bills through Customer Login or Quick Bill Pay on mahanagargas.com, and on the MGL Connect app. Every customer has a BP number and a CA number, and the CA number is the one needed to pay.

Check which part has failed.
- No gas at the stove: call MGL customer care. If you smell gas, use the emergency line instead.
- Website or MGL Connect not opening: the bill can still be paid through Quick Bill Pay, QR or a drop box.
- Bill amount looks high: it may be an assessed bill, worked out from your past use.
Do not wait for the website.
- Do not switch any electrical switch on or off.
- Put out all flames.
- Turn off the Meter Control Valve (MCV).
- Open all doors and windows.

Quick Bill Pay par apna CA number daal kar bill bhar sakte hain, login ki zaroorat nahi. MGL Connect app, Customer Login, NACH aur QR se bhi payment hota hai. Cheque ya DD ICICI Bank, Axis Bank aur MINC ke drop box mein daal sakte hain.
MGL bills every two months and alternates between an actual bill, from a meter reading, and an assessed bill, based on your last six bills. The bill says which one it is.
If the assessed bill is off, send MGL your current meter reading. It may send a reader to check before it corrects the bill.
Log in under Customer Login on mahanagargas.com, or open the MGL Connect app, to view your bills and bill history. Register your email id with MGL to get each bill by email; bills also come as an SMS link you can pay from.
