About KPSC
The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) recruits for Karnataka government posts, including the Karnataka Administrative Service (KAS), and also holds departmental exams. Notifications, key answers, results, cut-off marks and selection lists are on kpsc.kar.nic.in, in Kannada and English.
Applications run on a newer portal, kpsconline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates registered on KPSC's older websites have to register again there, and the compulsory Kannada certificate is downloaded from the same portal.

Our KPSC status card tracks the kpsconline application portal and shows reports from candidates across Karnataka. If reports pile up from many districts at once, the portal is down for everyone.
Check which site you need:
- kpsc.kar.nic.in carries notifications, key answers, results and lists.
- kpsconline.karnataka.gov.in handles registration, login and applications.
Either site can fail on its own. If both fail for everyone, KPSC's servers are down; if only your login fails, check your registration on the new portal.
KPSC moved all new notifications to kpsconline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates registered on its previous websites have to register again on the new portal, then log in there to apply.
- Open kpsconline.karnataka.gov.in and click New Registration.
- Log in and apply against the notification.
- Submit the form and note the application number.
The portal has a video tutorial for applicants in its help section.
On kpsc.kar.nic.in, under Key Answers and Results. Cut-off marks, eligibility lists, provisional, final and additional selection lists are under their own menus.
KPSC issues the compulsory Kannada language exam certificate through its online portal. Separate links cover certificates from before 2024 and from 2024 onwards; log in on kpsconline.karnataka.gov.in to get yours.
