About Kiwi
Kiwi is a UPI app built around RuPay credit cards from partner banks: the YES Bank Klick Card, the PNB KIWI Card and the AU KOSMO Card. It also offers Kiwi Postpaid, a YES Bank credit line on UPI. Once linked, you scan any UPI QR code and pay from the card.
The bank issues the card and runs its billing, limits and blocking. Kiwi handles the app, UPI payments, bill payment inside the app and Kiwi rewards.

Check other reports A spike in Kiwi user reports means a wider problem. Wait and retry.

Keep the registered SIM in the phone Kiwi binds UPI to the phone and SIM you set it up on. Card linking and PIN setup fail without that SIM.

Watch the small-merchant limit Credit card payments under Rs 2,000 to small shops are capped at Rs 2,000 a day on weekdays and Rs 4,000 at weekends.

Reopen the app for a new card A newly approved card can take a while to show. Close Kiwi fully and open it again.

Pay from your bank account If a card payment keeps failing at a small shop, pay through UPI from a linked bank account instead.

Use the bank's own app To block the card for a while, use the app of the bank that issued it.

See the statement by email Your monthly statement arrives at your registered email, and the issuing bank's app also has it.

Our live check covers gokiwi.in, and Kiwi users post their problems here. When many users report failed UPI payments or a blank app together, Kiwi is down. If only you are stuck, check your SIM, UPI PIN and card limits.
If many users report the same issue, wait and retry. The fault can sit with Kiwi, the issuing bank or UPI itself.
If only you are stuck, keep the SIM of your registered mobile in the same phone. After a phone change, verify the new device under Profile, Account management, and set your UPI PIN again.
NPCI limits credit card payments on UPI to small merchants.
- Rs 2,000 in a rolling 24 hours on weekdays, Rs 4,000 at weekends.
- Only payments under Rs 2,000 each count.
- Payments to larger merchants are not counted.
Wait for the window to pass, or pay that shop from a linked bank account.
Set your UPI PIN, and the card is active. In the Kiwi app, tap Link Card to UPI, pick your account and UPI ID, accept the terms, enter the bank OTP and set the PIN twice. The SIM of your registered number must be in the phone.
Open Profile, then Account management, choose the account and tap Forgot UPI PIN. Enter the 6-digit OTP and set a new PIN twice. Too many tries lock the reset for 24 hours.
Tap the bill on the Kiwi home screen once it is generated. Or tap your card, open Card management and choose Pay bill, then pay from any linked UPI account. Automatic bill payment is not available in the app yet.
The amount comes back to the card automatically within 7 working days. If it has not, raise a concern on that payment from Transaction History, or write in from Need Help.
Three banks issue them: YES Bank (Klick Credit Card), Punjab National Bank (PNB KIWI Card) and AU Small Finance Bank (KOSMO Credit Card). Existing Axis Bank KWIK cards still work in the app. Kiwi Postpaid is a YES Bank credit line on UPI.
