KSEAB runs Karnataka's SSLC for Class 10 and 2nd PUC for Class 12, taken by around eight lakh students each.

What makes Karnataka unusual is that it offers more than one attempt in the same year, students who are unhappy with their marks can sit a second or third exam within the same cycle and keep the best score. That means several result declarations instead of one. Each of those, spread across April to July, brings its own rush to the site.
