Goa's state bus service is run by the Kadamba Transport Corporation Ltd (KTCL), set up in 1980 and headquartered at Paraiso de Goa, Alto Porvorim. It runs buses inside Goa, airport buses to Mopa and Dabolim, and interstate coaches to Maharashtra and Karnataka.

Interstate seats are booked on goakadamba.com or redBus. On board, fares can be paid by UPI or card since August 2024.

Yes. KTCL runs airport buses to Mopa from Calangute, Mapusa, Panaji and Margao, and to Dabolim from Calangute and Panaji. Timings are in the Bus Route Search on ktclgoa.com, and the Mopa Airport booking line is 7420842132.

Buy it from the Ticket Issue Clerk at a KTCL pass counter. General commuters get 40% off the monthly fare, and senior citizens and bona fide students get 70%. Passes work on the named route only, not on AC and Luxury buses, and cannot be cancelled.

Yes. Since 1 August 2024 KTCL has an Automated Fare Collection System: scan the QR code on the conductor's ticket machine with any UPI app, or pay by debit or credit card.

15% five days or more ahead, 20% two days ahead, 25% one day ahead, and 50% on the same day if more than 4 hours remain. Within 4 hours of departure there is no refund, and KTCL never returns the reservation fee. If KTCL cancels the bus, you get the full fare back.
