Indian Bank is a public sector bank headquartered in Chennai, and the former Allahabad Bank, now called e-Allahabad Bank, has been amalgamated into it. Customers bank on the IndSMART mobile app, net banking, UPI, WhatsApp Banking and a wide branch and ATM network.

Failed UPI and IMPS transfers are auto-credited within a day, and ATM, POS and e-commerce failures within five, so a debit without a transfer usually corrects itself. Complaints go through the bank's own CGRS portal.
