If IGNOU isn't working

Login failing on the re-registration portal? For a username or password problem, IGNOU asks students to approach their regional centre to reset the account or update the email ID or mobile number.
Compare with other students Many IGNOU students reporting together means the site is down. Try again later.

IGNOU runs many portals: Samarth for admission, onlinerr for re-registration, gradecard for results, eGyanKosh for study material and iGRAM for complaints. Check which one you need before deciding IGNOU is down, and look for reports on that portal here.

If your username or password does not work on the re-registration portal, IGNOU asks you to approach your regional centre to reset the account. If the bank debited you but the portal shows nothing, wait before paying again and call the Student Service Centre.

Open gradecard.ignou.ac.in directly and enter your enrolment number and programme. If your latest exam is missing, check the Results section under Student Services on ignou.ac.in for the announcement.

eGyanKosh is the national digital repository that holds IGNOU's study material. If it will not load, try later or ask your regional centre about printed material from the Material Production and Distribution Division.
