About Himachal Board

Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), at Gyan Alok Parisar in Dharamshala, runs the state's Matric (Class 10) and Plus Two (Class 12) exams. It also conducts the Himachal Pradesh State Open School (HPSOS) exams, D.El.Ed and the teacher eligibility test (TET).

All results sit on the Results page of hpbose.org and open with the roll number alone. In 2026 the Plus Two result came out on 4 May and Matric on 10 May, with supplementary results in August.

Verify a certificate online Employers and colleges can verify an HPBOSE certificate through the board's online verification, after registering as an agency. The fee is paid online only, at Rs 600 per certificate.
Pay at the board's cash counter For a duplicate certificate, the fee can be paid in cash at the HPBOSE counter in Dharamshala, or by bank draft or IPO sent by post to the Secretary.

See whether a result has gone up today, since that is when most students open the same Results page. In 2026 the board put out Plus Two results on 4 May and Matric on 10 May, and re-evaluation and supplementary results in July and August. If no result is due and many students still report the site here, hpbose.org itself is down.

On the same Results page, listed as Re-Evaluation/Re-Checking Result. In 2026 the Plus Two list went up on 8 July and the Matric list on 18 July. HPSOS open school candidates have their own re-evaluation links there.

Download the form from hpbose.org and get it attested by your school's principal or headmaster. If the certificate was lost, add a copy of the FIR or DDR. The board sends the certificate by registered post within one month when the form is complete, or within 24 hours on an urgent request. It issues three copies at most.
