Q: Why is DigitalOcean server not working today?

Open status.digitalocean.com. It shows each service, such as the API, Cloud Control Panel and DNS, and each region, including BLR1 in Bangalore. An incident there means the fault is DigitalOcean's.

Q: My DigitalOcean Droplet will not boot. What can I do?

Boot it from the recovery ISO and connect through the Recovery Console. That gives you a shell to check the file system, and if the disk is 100% full you can delete files to free space.

Use the Recovery Console For a Droplet that will not boot or is out of disk space, boot the recovery ISO and fix it from there.
Debug your firewall If only your Droplet is unreachable, check its cloud firewall and network settings before opening a ticket.
