Answer: No CTET issues reported in the last 24 hours, and it responded normally at our last check on 24 Oct 2026, 4:03 AM IST.
Our automated check runs from one or more locations and may miss in-app problems; reports come from users across India. We only call something "down" when users confirm it too. Here's how we check.

About CTET
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is the national teacher eligibility exam for classes I to VIII, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the Ministry of Education. ctet.nic.in carries its notices, information bulletin, results links and certificate services.
Applications, the correction window and admit cards run on a separate exam portal linked from the site. The 22nd edition of CTET is scheduled for 12 and 13 December 2026.

If CTET isn't working
-
Check the release date first Admit cards appear two days before the exam and city details 15 days before. Earlier, the link will not work.
-
Use the link on ctet.nic.in Open the application or admit card login from the CTET site itself, not from a saved or forwarded link.
-
Keep the application number handy CTET logins ask for the application number, so keep it noted down.
-
Try again a little later If a page keeps timing out, wait and retry rather than refreshing again and again.
-
See reports on this page Many CTET candidates reporting together means the site itself is down.
Other ways to access CTET
-
Get certificates from DigiLocker CTET marksheets and certificates from 2018 onwards can be pulled into DigiLocker using your roll number.
-
Check results on results.gov.in The CTET site also points to results.gov.in when CBSE's results page is slow.
-
Read the public notice Exam dates, city slips and admit card timing are announced in public notices on ctet.nic.in and cbse.gov.in.
-
Write to the CTET Unit For an application or admit card problem, the CTET helpline page has the phone number and email.

Questions
Check the CTET status card on this page first. It tracks ctet.nic.in and counts reports from candidates. A burst of CTET reports means the site is failing for candidates widely. If ctet.nic.in opens but the application login does not, the separate exam portal is the part that is failing.
Check which site you need. CTET is spread over three:
- ctet.nic.in for notices and the information bulletin.
- The exam portal linked from it, for the application, correction window and admit card.
- CBSE's results portal and results.gov.in for results.
A fault on one of these need not stop the other two, so retry the one you need a little later.
CBSE ke notice ke hisaab se 22nd CTET 12 aur 13 December 2026 ko hoga. Exam city aur date ki jaankari exam se 15 din pehle CTET portal par aayegi, aur admit card 2 din pehle.
The admit card comes on the CTET portal two days before the exam, so it will not show earlier than that. On release day, retry after some time instead of refreshing again and again. Keep your application number ready.
For CTET 2018 onwards, use DigiLocker. Log in, choose Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, then Teacher Eligibility Test Mark-sheet or Certificate, and enter your roll number and year. For 2011 to 2016, apply online through CBSE's Duplicate Academic Document System (DADS).
The CTET site links results through CBSE's results portal and results.gov.in. If one link is slow, try the other, and keep your roll number ready.
Yes. The download button on the status card saves a server down image with CTET's status, the time of our last check, and how many users are reporting problems.
