Q: How do I challenge the BSF answer key?

When a window opens, BSF posts a Link for Objection Management Portal on its recruitment home page, with a notice giving the dates. Log in through that link before it closes.

Questions

We check rectt.bsf.gov.in and count reports from BSF applicants. If reports pile up from several states at the same time, BSF's portal is down.

Not every BSF link is on the same site. Admit card downloads and the answer-key objection portal open on the exam agency's pages, while notices open as files from a separate server.

So the main portal can load fine while an admit card link fails.

Fill the one-time profile on rectt.bsf.gov.in using an email ID and mobile number that work. It is free, and the same profile works for every later BSF advertisement. After logging in, use Click Here to apply next to an active advertisement.

Log in and scroll to Application history at the bottom. Click Pay Now against an unpaid application and pay with a debit card, credit card or net banking. You can also pay at your nearest authorised Common Service Centre. Women, ex-servicemen and SC/ST candidates pay no exam fee.

BSF asks candidates who do not get the OTP on their mobile to contact their network provider. Check that the number in your profile is correct, and that your phone can receive SMS, before asking for a new one.

No. Editing is not possible once the form is finally submitted, so check every field before you submit. The system also checks eligibility when you click apply and shows a message if you do not qualify.
