Airbnb is a booking platform for homestays, villas and rooms run by individual hosts, plus experiences and services. Indian travellers use airbnb.co.in and the Airbnb app to book stays in Goa, Jaipur, Udaipur, Delhi and abroad, and many Indians list their own homes as hosts.

Bookings, payments and messages with hosts all run through Airbnb. When it goes down, search, checkout, host chat and the app can all fail.
