Answer: No AICTE issues reported in the last 24 hours, and it did not respond at our last check on 24 Oct 2026, 5:32 AM IST.
Our automated check runs from one or more locations and may miss in-app problems; reports come from users across India. We only call something "down" when users confirm it too. Here's how we check.

About AICTE
The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the statutory body under the Ministry of Education that approves engineering, management, pharmacy and other technical institutions. Its head office is in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.
Students come to AICTE mainly for two things. The National Internship Portal, internship.aicte-india.org, lists free internships, and students apply for its Pragati, Saksham and Swanath scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal.

Questions
Our AICTE card checks aicte.gov.in and tallies what students and colleges report. A sudden crowd of reports means AICTE's site is down. If only the internship portal fails for you, check it separately at internship.aicte-india.org.
New scholarship windows, internship drives and approval deadlines bring heavy traffic.
AICTE also works across several sites. The main site is aicte.gov.in, internships run on internship.aicte-india.org, and applications for its scholarships go through scholarships.gov.in. One can fail while the others open.
AICTE's internship site, internship.aicte-india.org, runs apart from aicte.gov.in. If it will not load, try later. Its helpline answers on weekdays, and its team replies to email within 48 hours.
Real, and free. AICTE says registration, applications, shortlisting and the completion certificate cost a student nothing. Anyone asking you to pay to apply through the National Internship Portal is running a scam; report it to the portal's email.
On the National Scholarship Portal, scholarships.gov.in. For 2026-27, Pragati (for girl students), Saksham (for specially-abled students) and Swanath take fresh and renewal applications until 31 October 2026.
