About Voter ID Portal - ECI
The Voter ID Portal at voters.eci.gov.in is the Election Commission of India's Citizen Service Portal, the ECI portal that replaced the old NVSP site. New voters apply here in Form 6, corrections and replacement cards go through Form 8, and deletions through Form 7.
People also use it to search their name in the voter list, find their polling details, download the e-EPIC and track an application. For the SIR 2026 revision it holds the last SIR rolls of 2002 or 2003 and the draft rolls for states under revision.

Questions
It is down when reports on this page rise from many states in the same hour. Then voters.eci.gov.in itself is failing, so use the ECINET app or come back later. If the reports are few, check your own connection and try again.
Check which step fails before trying again.
- No OTP: ECI sends it to the mobile linked with your voter record, so log in with that number or your EPIC number.
- Captcha rejected: load a fresh one and type it exactly as shown.
- Whole site not loading: use the ECINET app, which carries the same forms, name search and e-EPIC download.
The OTP reaches only the mobile number tied to your voter record, so use that number or your EPIC number to log in. Ask for it once and give it a little time before asking again. For a rejected captcha, refresh it and type the new one carefully.
Open Search Your Name in Last SIR on the portal. Pick your state and district, enter the name as it was in the old roll, and add the assembly constituency and part if you know them. Spellings can differ, so try variations like Manish and Maneesh. You can also type the name in your state's own language.
Log in on the Voter ID Portal with your mobile number or EPIC number and the OTP, then choose E-EPIC Download. The OTP only reaches a mobile number linked to your voter record, so link it through Form 8 first if needed.
Log in on the Voter ID Portal with your mobile or EPIC number and the OTP, then open Track Application Status. It shows the status of the forms you filed.
After an online Form 6, the Electoral Registration Officer's office takes it up and a BLO visits your home to verify the details.
It is now part of the ECINET app. ECINET brings the Voter Helpline app, cVIGIL and other ECI apps into one, with voter registration, name search, e-EPIC download and Book a Call with BLO. It is on the Play Store and the App Store.
ECINET app mein wahi search hai, wahan try kijiye. Apne state ke Chief Electoral Officer ki website par bhi voter list milti hai. Fir bhi na ho to 1950 par call karke apna EPIC number bataiye.
