Tirupati Balaji darshan is booked through Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which runs the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at Tirumala, the Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple at Tiruchanoor and other temples around Tirupati. Pilgrims book Special Entry Darshan (Rs 300), Arjitha Sevas, accommodation and SRIVANI donations on its official booking portal, ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in.

Sarva Darshan The free darshan needs no booking. Pilgrims wait in the Vaikuntam Queue Complex, which leads to the main temple at Tirumala; Annaprasadam and milk, coffee or tea are given free.

Pilgrims report TTD booking problems on this page, and we check ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in, the official booking portal, ourselves. Many reports within minutes, especially on a quota release day, mean the portal is struggling. If others are not reporting, check your mobile data or Wi-Fi.
The portal is busiest when a new quota opens.
- Special Entry Darshan opens at 10 AM on release day.
- Accommodation opens at 3 PM.
Log in a little early, and keep the payment method ready before the window opens.
The Rs 300 Special Entry Darshan quota opens, per TTD's FAQ, at 10 AM on the 24th of every month, for the third month ahead.
- Accommodation at Tirumala and Tirupati: 3 PM on the 24th.
- Senior citizen and physically challenged darshan tokens: 3 PM on the 22nd.
TTD may move a date by a few days, and posts the exact dates on the booking portal.
TTD processes refunds on the next working day after the transaction. A UPI refund reaches your account in about an hour after that, TTD's FAQ says. Net banking, credit card and debit card refunds take 3 to 7 working days, depending on your bank.
No for Special Entry Darshan: TTD does not allow cancellation of a successfully booked ticket. A SRIVANI break darshan can be rescheduled once, within one year of the donation and at least one day in advance, after logging in to the booking portal.
Log in to ttdevasthanams.ap.gov.in with the mobile number or email id you booked with, and open your booking history. If that does not work, write to TTD's helpdesk email, given on our TTD helpline page.
Free Sarva Darshan timings differ by day of the week; TTD lists them in its weekly temple programme on tirumala.org.
On normal days about 18 hours are given to Sarva Darshan, and on peak days about 20 hours.
TTD's traditional dress code applies to Arjitha Sevas, break darshan and Special Entry Darshan.
- Men: dhoti or pyjama with an upper cloth.
- Women: saree or half-saree with blouse, or churidar with pyjama and upper cloth.
