Is Sewa Setu Assam down right now?

Check the status card on this page. It tests the Sewa Setu tracking page and lists reports from applicants in Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar and other districts. A spike in reports means the portal has trouble, not your connection.

Citizen login on Sewa Setu goes through e-Pramaan, the government's single sign-on, and many services pass on to a department's own system. A fault in any of these can stop your application.

No OTP? Make sure the phone number is the one on your Sewa Setu account, and give it some minutes before asking again.

Open Track, choose Services, and enter the Application Reference Number you got when you applied. The acknowledgement also shows the service name, the date and the time limit. A PFC or CSC can check the status for you too.

1. Pick New User and enter your mobile number and OTP.
2. Fill in your name, date of birth and other details.
3. Create your login and submit.

Certificates such as income, caste and permanent residence, plus birth and marriage registration. It also covers driving licence services through Sarathi, Basundhara land services, e-Khajana, GMC property tax, AUWSSB water bills and new APDCL electricity connections.

File an appeal. Under the ARTPS Act you can appeal if the service is not delivered in time with no reason given, or if the Designated Officer rejects it. Use Raise an Appeal on Sewa Setu, choosing Auto or Manual Appeal.

Appeals cost nothing. A second appeal goes to the Assam Right to Public Services Commission.

Yes. Visit a Public Facilitation Centre (PFC) or a Common Service Centre (CSC), or use the UMANG app on Android or iPhone, which now carries Sewa Setu services.
