PolicyBazaar is India's largest online insurance marketplace, part of the listed PB Fintech group. It does not underwrite policies itself, what it does is let people compare health, life, motor, travel and other cover across many insurers in one place.

Buying, renewal, policy documents and claim assistance all run through its site and app, and its call centres handle a large share of the actual selling. Traffic climbs around motor policy renewal dates, before the financial year end when people buy for tax reasons, and after any change in insurance rules.
