Policyholders renew policies, download policy copies, register claims and track them on the NIC Portal at nicportal.nic.co.in. Health cover such as National Parivar Mediclaim and Arogya Sanjeevani, motor and travel policies are listed on nationalinsurance.nic.co.in.

The corporate site, nationalinsurance.nic.co.in, and the NIC Portal, nicportal.nic.co.in, are separate. Renewal, policy download and claims run on the portal, so the portal can fail even when the main site opens.
On the portal itself, an OTP going to an old mobile number is the usual block.
Open Download Policy on the NIC Portal.
- Enter the mobile number or email id linked with the policy.
- Tap Send OTP and enter the code.
- Download the policy copy.
If the OTP goes to an old number, change it first under Update Contact Details on the same portal.
Go to Renew Policy on the NIC Portal, enter your current policy number and pay. If the renewal fails, NICL asks you to call its toll-free number or write to [email protected].
Use Register A Claim on the NIC Portal, or contact the office that issued the policy. To follow it up, open Track Claim and search with either the policy number or the claim number.

NICL posts them on the Careers and Recruitment page of nationalinsurance.nic.co.in. The NIC Portal is only for policyholders, so recruitment updates will not appear there.
