About PMAY Gramin
Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G) is the Ministry of Rural Development's housing scheme for houseless families and those living in kutcha or dilapidated houses in villages. It replaced Indira Awaas Yojana from 1 April 2016.
The scheme runs on AwaasSoft, where you can search beneficiary details, check the Permanent Wait List and track payments through FTO Tracking. Houses are monitored with the AwaasApp, and new households are surveyed through AwaasPlus 2024.

We check pmayg.dord.gov.in and count reports from people using PMAY-G. If reports come from several states together, PMAY-G is down. Beneficiary search and FTO tracking run on AwaasSoft, a separate address, so check which page fails.
The scheme's services sit on different systems. Beneficiary details, reports and FTO tracking are on awaassoft.pmayg.dord.gov.in, while the AwaasPlus 2024 survey runs through its own mobile app.
So the main site can open while AwaasSoft is slow, or the other way round.

Rural households that are houseless or live in kutcha houses. Homeless, destitute and manual scavenger families, PVTGs and released bonded labourers get priority.
A household is left out if it owns a pucca house, a motor vehicle or mechanised farm equipment, has a KCC limit of Rs 50,000 or more, a government employee, or a member earning over Rs 15,000 a month. Use Am I Eligible? on the portal to check.

It is the survey to add new eligible households, done as a self-survey or an assisted survey. It uses the AwaasPlus 2024 app from Google Play and the AadhaarFaceRD app for face-based e-KYC.
Yes. Willing beneficiaries are helped to get institutional finance of up to Rs 70,000, monitored through the State and District Level Bankers' Committees.
No. PMAY-G is for rural areas and is run by the Ministry of Rural Development on pmayg.dord.gov.in. The urban scheme, PMAY-U, is run by the housing ministry on a separate portal.
