About PM Kisan

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, or PM Kisan, is the Government of India scheme that pays land-holding farmer families Rs. 6,000 a year in three equal instalments, straight into their bank accounts. The Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare runs it, and the periods are April to July, August to November and December to March.

On the site, farmers register, check Know Your Status, update a mobile number and look up the Beneficiary List. eKYC is mandatory; fingerprint eKYC can be done at a CSC or in the PM-KISAN app. Over 9.4 crore farmers were paid in the April-July 2026-27 period.

It means the status service did not answer your request in time, not that your record has a problem. Wait a few minutes and try again. If it keeps appearing, check through the PM-KISAN app or call 155261.
