About PM Kisan

PM Kisan is the portal for the central income support scheme that pays eligible farmer families 6,000 rupees a year in three instalments, directly into their bank accounts.

Farmers and common service centre operators use it to check beneficiary status, see whether a payment has landed, finish eKYC, correct Aadhaar or bank details and register fresh applications.

Its traffic pattern is unusually spiky, it goes quiet between instalments and then every instalment release day brings crores of farmers to the same status page within hours of the money being credited.

Try off-peak Access improves outside the immediate rush, so trying later or early morning is usually smoother.
