Our automated check runs from one or more locations and may miss in-app problems; reports come from users across India. We only call something "down" when users confirm it too. Here's how we check.

About eCourts

eCourts brings the case records of district courts and high courts across India into one searchable place. Case status, next hearing dates, cause lists, orders and judgments can all be looked up by case number, party name or advocate.

Lawyers and their clerks use it every single working day to see where a matter stands, and litigants use it to follow their own case without going to the court complex. Load rises in the morning before hearings and when cause lists for the next day are published.

Live reports

  • No reports yet, be the first to report an issue above.

If eCourts isn't working

  • Use the CNR number to search The CNR number opens a specific case most reliably. Keep it ready rather than searching only by party name.

  • Try the services portal directly Case status, orders and cause lists are on the eCourts services portal. If the main site is slow, open the services portal directly.

  • Wait and retry If the portal is under load or maintenance, wait a few minutes and retry rather than reloading constantly.

  • Check your connection Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data and reload if the page is timing out.

  • Check the live status above If many people are reporting eCourts right now, it is a wider problem and not just you.

Other ways to access eCourts

  • Use the eCourts Services mobile app The eCourts Services app can show case status and cause lists when the website is busy.

  • Check the specific High Court site For High Court cases, that court's own services page may work when the national portal is slow.

  • Ask your advocate For an urgent case update, your advocate usually has the latest status directly from the court.

  • Try later if it is under maintenance If the portal is under maintenance, it returns after the window, so check again a little later.

Questions

Check the live status and report map above. If reports are spiking, it is a wider eCourts problem and not just you. Otherwise it may be your connection or the specific court's data.
The reports above are the first check. Cause lists publish in the evening and draw a concentrated rush from advocates and clerks. If the site is reachable but a case will not appear, the CNR number or the court establishment selected is the likelier problem than an outage.
The eCourts services portal can be slow under load or during maintenance, and some court data syncs on a delay. Wait a little and retry, and make sure you have the correct case or CNR number.
Use the eCourts services portal and search by CNR number, case number, party name or advocate. The CNR number is the most reliable way to open a specific case.
If many people are reporting it here together, it is down for everyone. If not, check the case or CNR number, try a different search option, and reload.
Ghabraye nahi. Load ya maintenance ki wajah se aisa hota hai. Thodi der baad services portal par try karein, CNR number se search karein jo sabse sahi tareeka hai.
Yes. Tap the Download button on the live status card at the top of this page to save the eCourts server down image. The screenshot shows eCourts's current status, the last checked time and how many users across India are reporting problems right now. So when eCourts is actually down you get a real service down screenshot, not a mock-up. Save the service down image to keep it or send it to someone.
We run an on-demand server check from our side and combine it with real user reports across India. Reports are the main signal, because eCourts can respond to our check while it is still failing for many users. So if reports are spiking here, it is a real problem even if the site loads for us.
