About e-District UP

e-District UP issues the certificates that Uttar Pradesh residents need constantly, income, caste, domicile, birth and death certificates among them, applied for online and downloaded once approved.

Much of the actual filing is done by Jan Seva Kendra operators on behalf of applicants, especially in smaller towns, and the same portal is used to verify a certificate's authenticity later.

Its peak is predictable and severe, the admission and scholarship season, when income and caste certificates become compulsory attachments and students across the state apply within the same few weeks.
