About CERSAI
Banks and other lenders record mortgages and charges on the Central Registry of Securitisation Asset Reconstruction and Security Interest of India (CERSAI). It is a Government of India company set up under the SARFAESI Act, and its Security Interest Registry covers immovable, movable and intangible property and assignment of receivables.
Anyone can search the registry before buying or lending against a property. CERSAI also runs the Central KYC Records Registry (CKYCR) on its own site, ckycindia.in.

Questions
Our CERSAI card checks the CERSAI 2.0 portal and counts reports from bank staff, lawyers and buyers. A sudden rise from many users means the registry is down for all. With a lone report, check your browser and digital signature setup.
For an Internal Server Error, CERSAI's own FAQ says to clear all browsing data in Chrome, open an incognito window and try again.
Login and filing also depend on the E-Lock digital signature utility on your computer, so an old utility version stops you even when the site is up.

- Could not connect to E lock Sign App: install the utility from Downloads, or close all apps and restart it.
- 3365 Internal Signing Error: uninstall the old E-Lock and install the new client from the CERSAI 2.0 Downloads section.
- Digital signature verification failed: check your computer's date and time.
- Signature revoked: contact your DSC vendor.
A Class III signing certificate from any issuing authority, such as eMudhra, Capricorn or V-sign. New user IDs cannot log in without one.
Three wrong user ID and password tries lock the account. It unlocks by itself after an hour. A wrong captcha shows a separate Access Denied message.

Yes. CERSAI has run the Central KYC Records Registry since 2016 for banks, brokers, insurers and pension bodies under RBI, SEBI, IRDAI and PFRDA. It has its own site, ckycindia.in, and its own helpdesk.
