CCAvenue is the payment gateway behind the checkout page on many Indian websites and apps. AvenuesAI Limited, formerly Infibeam Avenues Limited, runs it, and it is an RBI-authorised payment aggregator.

Shoppers pay through it by credit or debit card, net banking, UPI, bank EMI or a prepaid wallet. International buyers can pay in their own currency, and the merchant is settled in rupees. On a card statement the charge shows as CCAvenue.com or AvenuesAI Limited, not the shop's name.

Merchants get their payout weekly unless their agreement says otherwise.

Payment failed? Note the order details first Note the order number, date and amount. A debited payment that failed is sent back for reversal the next day, so paying again risks a double debit.
Merchants: check your dashboard For payouts, refunds or a dispute, the merchant dashboard shows each transaction's status. Refunds can be issued from it for up to 90 days after the payment.
Switch the payment mode If your card keeps getting declined at a CCAvenue checkout, pay by UPI or net banking instead. A decline from one bank does not mean the gateway is down.
Never share OTP or card details on a call Do not share your OTP, card number or CVV on a call. Do not install a screen-sharing app for someone who says they will fix a payment.
Check the live status on this page Many reports from across India at once mean the gateway has a real problem. With only a handful, try another payment method or another website first.

Pay with another method or gateway At checkout, switch to another card, a UPI app or net banking. Many sites also offer a second payment option, which may run through a different gateway.
Merchants: take payment by invoice If your website checkout is failing, send the customer a CCAvenue invoice by email or SMS, or share a CCAvenue Forms payment link on WhatsApp. The customer pays from the link instead of your website checkout.
