About Cashfree

Founded in 2015 and based in Bengaluru, Cashfree Payments is used by businesses to collect online payments and send payouts. Hundreds of thousands of merchants run collections, vendor and wage payouts, refunds and international payments through it.

Much of its work is invisible to shoppers, it sits behind the checkout page or inside the settlement process rather than carrying its own consumer app. Merchants feel its load most during peak sale periods and payout runs, when volumes climb in a short window.

Never share OTP or card details on a call Cashfree and its merchants never call to ask for your OTP, card number or a screen-sharing app. Anyone asking is a scammer.
