About UTIITSL PAN

UTI Infrastructure Technology and Services Limited is the second of the two authorised PAN service agencies in India, alongside Protean. Its portal handles the same set of work, new PAN applications, corrections, reprints, e-PAN downloads and status checks.

A card applied for through UTIITSL is no different from one issued through the other route, the PAN itself comes from the Income Tax Department either way. People generally return to whichever agency handled their original application. Tax season and PAN-Aadhaar linking deadlines are when it carries the most traffic.

If UTIITSL PAN isn't working

Wait and retry near deadlines Close to PAN-Aadhaar linking and tax dates the portal is overloaded. Wait a few minutes and retry rather than refreshing constantly.
For a failed payment, keep the reference A failed PAN fee is normally auto reversed. Keep the reference and check your status before paying again, so you do not apply twice.
Keep your acknowledgement or PAN ready Have your 15-digit acknowledgement number or PAN, name and date of birth ready before you open the page.
