About SHCIL e-Stamp
Non-judicial stamp duty in 26 states and union territories is paid through SHCIL e-Stamping, run by Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited (StockHolding). The Ministry of Finance made StockHolding the Central Record-keeping Agency for stamp duty, and the same site handles e-Court Fee and e-Registration Fee.
On shcilestamp.com you can log in to buy an e-Stamp, self-print it where your state allows, and verify any certificate. When it is down, logins, payments and verification stop together.

We test the e-Stamp citizen login on a schedule and show it in the status card. Reports come from buyers in Delhi, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and other states, and many at once mean StockHolding's system has a fault.
Login, payment, printing and verification all run on shcilestamp.com, so an outage there stops all four. If only printing fails, check your computer.
Self-printing works on Windows, not on a Mac, and needs StockHolding's Print Control Proxy (PCP) installed.
Open Verify e-Stamp on shcilestamp.com and enter the state, certificate number, article number and date of issue. You can also scan the 2D barcode with StockHolding's e-Stamping app on Android or iPhone. The details shown must match the certificate exactly.

No, an e-Stamp cannot be cancelled once generated. For a refund on a generated certificate, or a lost one, go to the competent authority of your state government. If you underpaid, buy a second e-Stamp for the difference.
Submit a refund request at any StockHolding office with a request letter, ID and address proof, the bank statement, a cancelled cheque and an indemnity bond. Once documents are in order, the money reaches the same bank account in up to 15 days. Cash refunds are not given.
