About Revolut India

Revolut India is the Indian arm of the British fintech Revolut, run by Revolut Payments India Private Limited and Revolut Forex India Private Limited. The first is authorised by the RBI to issue prepaid wallets and cards, and the second is an authorised forex dealer that issues multi-currency cards.

The app gives Indian residents over 18 a spending account with UPI on an @revolut handle, domestic and multi-currency cards, spending alerts and budgets, and a separate app for children aged 6 to 17.

If Revolut India isn't working

Card or UPI payment failing Try the other method before assuming the app is down. Card payments and UPI can fail separately.
Freeze the card if anything looks wrong Freeze the card from the app the moment you see a payment you do not recognise, then call the card-blocking line.
Update to the current build Update the Revolut app from the store. An old version can stop login or a payment from completing.

Use another UPI app Pay from your bank account through any other UPI app on the phone while Revolut is unavailable.
Email support if chat will not open If the app will not load, write to Revolut India's support email with your registered phone number and the details of the problem.
Carry a second card For anything time critical, especially abroad, keep a backup card from another bank.
