About PM Vishwakarma
Carpenters, tailors, potters, barbers, masons and other traditional artisans in 18 trades get support under PM Vishwakarma, a central scheme of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME). It gives a certificate and ID card, paid skill training, a toolkit grant and collateral-free loans at 5% interest.
Registration runs on pmvishwakarma.gov.in through Common Service Centres (CSCs), with separate logins for verifying officials, lenders and training centres.

Our PM Vishwakarma card checks pmvishwakarma.gov.in and counts reports from artisans, CSC operators and officials. A sharp jump from many places means the portal is down for all. Just one report? Retry on a different network first.
The portal has separate logins for applicants, CSCs, verifying officials, lenders and training centres. The toolkit and India Post logins open on separate udyamimitra.in addresses.
One of these can fail while the home page loads fine, so note which login gave the error.

Portal ke anusaar 30 lakh registration ka lakshya September 2025 mein poora ho gaya tha, isliye CSC se pehle pooch lijiye ki aapke area mein naya registration khula hai ya nahi.
Traditional artisans who meet four conditions.
- An artisan in one of the 18 listed trades, self-employed, aged 18 or above
- Only one member per family (husband, wife and unmarried children)
- No government employees or their families
- No PMEGP loan, and no outstanding PM SVANidhi or Mudra loan
Aadhaar, mobile number, bank details and ration card. Without a ration card, bring the Aadhaar of every family member. Without a bank account, the CSC helps you open one first.
Up to Rs 1 lakh in the first tranche, repaid over 18 months, then up to Rs 2 lakh over 30 months. Interest is 5%, with no collateral and no guarantee fee.
The second tranche needs a standard loan account plus digital transactions or advanced training. There is no prepayment penalty after 6 months.
The toolkit incentive of up to Rs 15,000 comes after skill verification, at the start of basic training. You cannot get it without attending training.
Rs 500 a day. Basic training runs 5 to 7 days (40 hours), and advanced training is an optional 15 days (120 hours).
