Owned by PayU Finance India, LazyPay is the pay-later button that turns up at checkout across Indian travel, food and ecommerce sites, and separately a personal loan app in its own right.

The pitch is one deferred bill instead of a card, which found an audience among users who never had a credit card to begin with. Support and grievance channels now run on PayU Finance addresses rather than the older LazyPay ones, a detail that matters if you are chasing an unresolved complaint. Activity clusters on billing dates, when repayment reminders go out to everyone at once.

If LazyPay isn't working

Check the live status above A broad spike in reports means waiting is the only real fix. Repeated attempts at checkout can leave duplicate pending entries.
Option missing at checkout Confirm your available limit and whether a bill is pending, then try a different merchant. If it works elsewhere, the first store had it switched off.
Repayment will not go through Use another method or the merchant of the original purchase, and keep the confirmation. That receipt is what gets a late fee reversed later.
KYC or limit stuck Re-upload documents on a stable connection in good light. If it stays stuck for more than a couple of days, it is a support ticket rather than something to keep retrying.
Write to the right address Use the current PayU Finance mailboxes. Mail sent to older LazyPay addresses found on directory sites often goes nowhere.

Pay with UPI or a card instead At a checkout where LazyPay is failing, any other method completes the order without waiting for the outage to clear.
Repay through the app or a payment link If one route to a repayment is broken, the other often still works, and either produces a receipt you can keep.
Ask the merchant about the order Where a purchase half went through, the store can confirm whether the order stands before you try paying a second time.

There are two separate paths that fail differently. As a pay later option at checkout, it depends on the merchant's integration as much as on LazyPay, so it can vanish from one store while working on another. As a standalone app, login, KYC and repayment problems sit squarely with LazyPay and its parent PayU Finance.

Not necessarily. Merchants switch the option off, and it also disappears if your limit is used up, a due amount is pending or your account is on hold. Try it on a different store to tell the two apart.
