About Jnanabhumi
JnanaBhumi is the Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Department's portal for Post Matric Scholarships. It covers SC, ST, BC, EBC, Kapu, minority and differently abled students in ITI, polytechnic, degree and higher courses.
Fees are reimbursed to the college under RTF, and a yearly MTF amount for food and hostel goes to the student's mother. Colleges submit applications on the portal, and students verify them at a MeeSeva centre.

Questions
We track jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in and add up reports from students and colleges in Andhra Pradesh. If lots of reports land together, the portal is down. With a lone report, check your local network.
Much of the work happens outside the student's own screen. The college principal submits a fresh application online, and the student then verifies it with biometric authentication at a MeeSeva centre.
So if your part fails, check with the college or the MeeSeva centre as well as the portal.
For a fresh application, follow these steps.
- Collect the Jnanabhumi Scholarship Application Form (JSAF) from your college.
- Fill it in and give the signed copy to the principal.
- The principal verifies it and submits it online at admission time. You get an SMS when it is submitted.
- At a MeeSeva centre, give your Jnanabhumi application ID and Aadhaar number, check the form and submit it with your biometric.
The college principal registers the renewal by entering your admission date for the current year and the hall ticket or roll number of last year's exam. You get an SMS, then you check the details and give your biometric at the college.
Students of eligible categories in ITI, polytechnic, degree and higher courses at colleges affiliated to state universities or boards. The main conditions are these.

- No four-wheeler in the family, though taxis, tractors and autos are exempt

MTF pays Rs 10,000 a year for ITI, Rs 15,000 for polytechnic and Rs 20,000 for degree and above, towards food and hostel. It goes to the mother's bank account, or the natural guardian's if the mother is not there.
