School students from class 6 to 12 send their science ideas to INSPIRE-MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge), run by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) with the National Innovation Foundation - India (NIF). Shortlisted students get an INSPIRE Award of Rs 10,000 by Direct Benefit Transfer.
Schools register and nominate students on the E-MIAS portal, inspireawards-dst.gov.in. Winners move up through district, state and national exhibitions (DLEPC, SLEPC and NLEPC).

This page tracks the INSPIRE-MANAK school login and collects reports from schools and students across India. When reports from many states arrive together, the E-MIAS portal has the problem.
School registration, nominations, payment status and results all run on one portal, inspireawards-dst.gov.in. If it is down, every part stops at once.
If only your school cannot log in, check the Application Number and registered email ID first, then reset the password.
Click School Authority on inspireawards-dst.gov.in and complete the new school registration. You get an Application Number, and once the District Authority approves it, a User ID and password arrive. A school registers only once and can then nominate students every year.
- Open Check Your Application Number & Email id to find the school's Application Number and registered email.
- Go to School Authority and use Forgot Password with the Application Number and captcha.
- A link to set a new password comes to the registered email; check spam too.
Rs 10,000, paid by Direct Benefit Transfer into the student's bank account. The student's name must match the name on the account exactly. A student without an account can open one, alone or jointly with a parent, before the nomination.
Open Payment Status on the portal and enter the student's Reference Number. The home page link Check your INSPIRE Award money Status also helps with bank details that failed.
Individual students of class 6 to 12 from any recognised school, government or private, on any national or state board. Ideas can be in any of the 22 languages of the Eighth Schedule. The principal or headmaster nominates them online.
