About Gemini

Gemini is Google's AI assistant, previously called Bard, used for writing, research, coding and image and document understanding.

What separates it from a standalone chatbot is how deeply it sits inside things people already use, it is built into Android, Search and Workspace, so a lot of Indians meet it without opening a separate app at all. It signs in with a Google account and has free and paid tiers. As a global Google service, its heaviest load is spread across time zones rather than concentrated in Indian hours.
