About DIKSHA
DIKSHA (Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing) is India's national platform for school education, run by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) under the Ministry of Education. Students and teachers use it for NCERT textbooks, videos, quizzes and teacher courses.
It works on diksha.gov.in and the DIKSHA app. The QR code printed in a textbook opens the matching chapter content straight away.

Our DIKSHA card checks diksha.gov.in and gathers reports from teachers and students on the app and the site. A spike from many users at once means DIKSHA itself is down. Only you? Close the app, reopen it and try on Wi-Fi or mobile data.
If the QR scan button or your profile settings are missing, the cause is an outdated Android System WebView on the phone, as DIKSHA's own help says. Update it from the Play Store.
If a course keeps asking you to log in again, you may have two DIKSHA accounts. Sign in with the one you started the course on.
Sign up with your mobile number or email, use Google sign-in, or use your state login if your state allows it. A new state account gets a welcome SMS from HP-INDKSH or BZ-DIKSHA with a link to set the password.
- Open Sign In and click Forgot password.
- Enter your mobile number or email and click Reset.
- Type the OTP you receive and click Submit.
- Set the new password and click Reset.
Search for the course, open its details page and click Join Course. Your enrolled courses then sit under My Courses in the Courses tab.
The course details page shows Your progress 100%. All finished courses are listed under Course(s) Attended in your profile, on both the portal and the app.
Tap the scan icon in the DIKSHA app and point it at the QR code. On the website, type the 6-digit code into the Enter QR code box and click Submit.

Only PDF content. Click the download icon, save it as a PDF and print it. Videos and interactive content play online.
