CRED is working right now
There's nothing to notify you about. If it goes down later, come back and we'll let you know when it's fixed.
Our automated check runs from one or more locations and may miss in-app problems; reports come from users across India. We only call something "down" when users confirm it too. Here's how we check.

About CRED
CRED is a members-only payments app best known for credit card bill payments, founded by Kunal Shah and based in Bengaluru. Not everyone can join, it screens users by credit score, and that has always been part of the pitch.
Members pay card bills, earn coins and offers, and also use it for UPI, rent payments and a set of credit and investment products. Because bills sit at the centre of it, usage clusters sharply around statement dates and the days just before card due dates, when a lot of people clear several cards in one sitting.

If CRED isn't working
-
Bill payment not reflecting on your card? It can take up to a few days near the due date. Keep the reference number and do not repeat the payment. Paying a few days early avoids a last minute delay.
-
Payment failed but money debited? A failed payment is auto reversed, usually within a few working days. Keep the reference. If a late fee is at risk, pay the bill from your bank in the meantime.
-
App not opening or stuck? Update CRED, clear its cache and check your connection. If many users report it above, it is a CRED side issue and waiting is the fix.
-
UPI failing? CRED UPI runs on your bank account, so try another UPI app or a second bank account for an urgent payment.
-
Bill shows overdue after paying? CRED syncs from your card statement. Wait for the latest statement to update in the app and the status will correct itself.
-
Check the live status above If many people across India are reporting CRED right now, it is a wider problem and not just you. Use your bank app or wait rather than retrying.
Other ways to access CRED
-
Pay the card bill directly with your bank If CRED is down near a due date, pay the credit card bill from your bank's net banking, app or UPI to avoid a late fee.
-
Use another UPI app The same bank account works in PhonePe, Google Pay or Paytm if CRED UPI is down.
-
Pay on the card issuer's app or website The bank that issued your card lets you pay the bill directly, which also avoids the settlement delay CRED can have.
-
Helpline for a stuck payment Use the verified CRED helpline for a payment that failed or a bill that did not reflect on your card.
