About Bhunaksha
Plot maps for UP, Rajasthan, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and a dozen other states run on Bhu-Naksha, the cadastral mapping software of the National Informatics Centre (NIC). NIC built it with the Department of Land Resources, Ministry of Rural Development, so that digitised parcel maps can be stored, updated after mutation and linked to the record of rights.
Each state runs its own Bhunaksha website. The national site, bhunaksha.nic.in, is meant for state and UT officials and lists the state sites.

Fill the location in order Choose the district first, then the tehsil, then the village, and only then the plot number.

Switch to satellite view Use Google Map or Bing Maps under viewing options, or the Satellite Layer on UP Bhunaksha, to see the plot on a satellite image.

Check the record of rights The khatauni (ROR) is the land record for your plot. In UP its area counts over the map area.

In Andhra Pradesh, use Meebhoomi Bhunaksha AP is linked with the Meebhoomi land records portal and has its own Citizen Login.

We check bhunaksha.nic.in and count reports from people looking up land maps. When many arrive together, the problem is on the Bhunaksha side. Note your state too, as each state's map site runs separately.
Every state runs its own Bhunaksha site, so UP's map can be down while Bihar's or Odisha's works fine.
The national site, bhunaksha.nic.in, is meant for state and UT officials. For your plot, go to your state's site instead.

Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand jaise rajyon ki site par Select Viewing options mein Google Map ya Bing Maps chuniye. UP Bhunaksha mein Base Map ke andar Satellite Layer on kar sakte hain.
In Uttar Pradesh, the khatauni (ROR) area counts, as UP Bhunaksha states on its map page. The map is built from cadastral maps and satellite images, so a small error is possible. A landholder can apply in court to correct the map area, or report the error through the link on the portal.
Bhu-Naksha is NIC's cadastral mapping software for digitised plot maps. Its Land Records Information Systems Division made it on the direction of the Department of Land Resources. It lets patwaris store and edit digitised plot maps, divide plots, link maps with the record of rights and print maps at any scale.
