About 8th Pay Commission
The 8th Central Pay Commission (8th CPC) was set up by the Government of India through a notification dated 3 November 2025. Central government employees, defence personnel and pensioners are among those it has invited views from. Its website, 8cpc.gov.in, carries its notices, visit schedules and data portal.
The commission sits at Chanderlok Building, Janpath, New Delhi. It has collected views through a MyGov questionnaire and a memorandum window, and is meeting employee associations and unions in different states.

The 18-question survey ran on MyGov.in from 5 February to 31 March 2026, and the window has closed. It was open to ministries, departments, states and UTs, employees and pensioners.
The commission is meeting associations and unions city by city. Its notices cover visits to Lucknow, Ladakh, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Puducherry, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Bengaluru and Mumbai.
