About Jupiter

Jupiter is a money app, not a bank. Amica Financial Technologies Private Limited in Bengaluru builds the app, while the savings account and VISA debit card behind it are provided by Federal Bank, an RBI-licensed bank, and deposits are covered by deposit insurance.

Inside the app you get a savings or salary account, UPI payments, bill payments, the Edge credit cards issued with CSB Bank and Federal Bank, personal loans, mutual funds, digital gold and deposits. Cash can be paid in at any Federal Bank branch.

If Jupiter isn't working

Payment failed? Keep the reference Save the UPI or transaction reference and check your balance. A second payment sent before the refund lands may go through as well.
Refresh and update the app Update the Jupiter app from the store, restart it, and switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
Try your debit card If UPI in the app fails, pay with the Federal Bank debit card or at an ATM. That shows whether the account or only the app has a problem.
Check who is calling Jupiter's verified service calls come from 1600 numbers it lists on its contact page. Never share an OTP or PIN, and never install a screen-sharing app for anyone.
Look at the live reports If many people across India report Jupiter together, the fault is on Jupiter's or the bank's side. Wait before retrying.

Other ways to access Jupiter

Use another UPI app on the same account Link the same Federal Bank account in any other UPI app and send the payment from there while Jupiter is down.
Pay by debit card or cheque For a bill or online purchase, use the Federal Bank debit card instead of UPI; it works even when the Jupiter app does not. The account's cheque book also works for a payment that can wait a day.
Deposit or withdraw at Federal Bank Cash can be deposited at any Federal Bank branch, and the debit card works at ATMs. Use them if you need money while the app is down.
Helpline for escalation For a stuck payment, the verified Jupiter helpline lists the support number, its hours and the emails.

See how many Jupiter users are reporting on this page. A wave of reports at once means the app or Federal Bank's side is down. When it is just your payment, look at your internet and at whether the bank you are paying has trouble too.

Jupiter is an app on top of Federal Bank, so a fault at either end shows up as the app failing. A UPI payment can also fail at the receiver's bank. Note whether login, UPI or a card is failing before you retry.

Do not pay again yet. Keep the UPI or transaction reference and check your balance first. If the amount has not come back, chat with support in the Jupiter app and share the reference.

Update the app from the store and restart your phone. Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. If many users report it here at the same time, wait; the problem is on Jupiter's side.

Your savings account and debit card sit with Federal Bank. If the Jupiter app will not load but your debit card works at a shop or ATM, the account is fine and the app is the problem.

Ghabraiye mat. Fail UPI payment ka paisa account mein laut aata hai; RBI ne iske liye T+1, yaani agla kaam ka din, tay kiya hai. UPI reference sambhal ke rakhiye aur balance dekhne se pehle dobara payment mat kijiye; na aaye to app ke chat mein reference bhejiye.
