Look for the OTP The OTP reaches only the phone number registered with the card. Check the signal and the SMS inbox, then retry.

Check before paying again The bank asks for NEFT payments one working day before the due date. Look at the card balance in the app before you send the amount a second time.

A card payment can fail at the bank, at the card network, at the shop, or because of a setting on your card. Check the live reports on this page first.
If many cardholders report the same thing, wait and try later. If only you are stuck, open Manage Card in the IDFC FIRST Bank app and check that online, POS or international use is switched on.
In the IDFC FIRST Bank app or net banking, go to Credit Card, then Pay credit card bill. Other ways to pay:
- UPI to your 16-digit card number followed by .cc@idfcbank
- IMPS or NEFT from any bank, with the card number as the account number
- Auto-debit from an IDFC FIRST account
- Cash or a cheque at an IDFC FIRST Bank branch
The bank charges nothing for these. Send an NEFT at least one working day before the due date.
Open the IDFC FIRST Bank app and choose Credit Card on the dashboard to view or download the statement. In net banking, the same option sits in the credit cards section. Each monthly statement also goes to your registered email ID.
Log in to the app or internet banking, open the credit card section and pick Set/Reset PIN. Any IDFC FIRST Bank ATM can set the PIN too. A new card is activated in the app, and some cards ask for the PIN during that step.
Block it straight away in the IDFC FIRST Bank app, or call 1800 10 888, which runs 24x7. Then ask for a replacement through the app, the website or a branch. For a stolen card, file a police complaint as well.
An IDFC FIRST RuPay credit card links to the IDFC FIRST Bank app on its own, so you can pay at once.
For Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm, add a RuPay credit card in that app, choose IDFC FIRST as the issuer, verify with the OTP from the bank and set a UPI PIN. The bank's UPI activation page has a QR code for each app.
