About Indian Bank Credit Card
Indian Bank, the public sector bank headquartered in Chennai, issues Visa cards (Bharat, Gold, Platinum, Business) and RuPay cards (Classic, Platinum, Select), plus secured cards against a fixed deposit. Each card is managed on the Credit Card Customer Portal at creditcard.indianbank.bank.in.
Online, contactless (NFC) and international use start switched off on every card. You turn them on in that portal.

If only your card fails online, abroad or on a tap, that use may still be off. On every Indian Bank credit card, online, NFC and international transactions start disabled. Turn them on in the Credit Card Customer Portal, or ask by email at [email protected].
Register once with an OTP.
- Open the Credit Card Customer Portal and pick First Time Login.
- Enter the card details, your registered mobile number and email ID.
- Enter the OTP sent to your mobile and set your own user ID and password.
After that, log in with that user ID and password.
Use the portal or an Indian Bank ATM.
- Portal: log in, open Requests, choose Set ATM/POS PIN, enter the OTP and set a 4-digit PIN.
- ATM: insert the card, pick Generate OTP/Set PIN, enter your date of birth to get an OTP valid for 24 hours. Insert the card again, choose Set PIN, and enter the date of birth, the OTP and your new PIN.
Pay in the app, online or at a branch.
- IndSMART app: Credit Card, enter the amount, Pay.
- Net banking: add IB Credit Card as a beneficiary, then use Credit Card Pay under Fund Transfer.
- IB Credit Card app: the Pay option.
- Bill payment apps such as BHIM, Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm or CRED.
- NEFT, IMPS or RTGS: account INBCC followed by the 16-digit card number with no gap, IFSC IDIB000N078.
- Cash or cheque at an Indian Bank branch.
Send BLOCKCC by SMS to 56767 from your registered mobile, and a confirmation comes back. You can also call 1800 1700, the 24-hour toll-free line, or email the credit card centre on a working day.
It depends on the card. Limits are for ATM cash, shop and online spends, and the total.
- Bharat or Classic: Rs 8,000 at ATMs, Rs 12,000 at shops and online, Rs 20,000 in all.
- Gold: Rs 25,000, Rs 75,000 and Rs 1,00,000.
- Platinum or Select: Rs 50,000, Rs 1,50,000 and Rs 2,00,000.
- Business: Rs 50,000, Rs 3,00,000 and Rs 3,50,000.
