Paytm Payments Bank is being wound up under an order of the High Court of Delhi and an Official Liquidator now exercises the powers of its board, so contact runs through the liquidator's office rather than a bank helpdesk. If you held a balance, the bank's own notice states that every depositor's claim is treated as already filed in the winding-up, covering wallets, FASTags, NCMC cards, savings accounts and other deposits. No fresh claim form is needed from you. Vendors and other creditors are a separate track with its own submission window.

Which makes the scam risk obvious. Nobody can charge you a fee to release, unfreeze or fast-track a refund, and no legitimate contact will ask for your OTP, PIN, card number or a payment. Official updates appear on the bank's own website, so use that and ignore anyone who approaches you.
