Since no official number exists, treat any number claiming to be Telegram support as a scam. Never share your login code with anyone, that code is all somebody needs to take over your account.
Telegram helpline — questions
No. Telegram runs no phone helpline. Support is through its official FAQ and the Ask a Question option inside the app, linked on this page.
Use Settings, Ask a Question in the app, which reaches Telegram's volunteer support. The FAQ answers most account and privacy questions faster.

Telegram accounts are tied to the phone number, and without access to it or to an active session, recovery may not be possible. Setting a two-step password with a recovery email in advance is the safeguard.
Use Report on the channel, group or message. Investment and job scams are heavily run through Telegram, and reporting the channel is more effective than blocking it alone.
Treat it as impersonation. Telegram support does not message users first, and no genuine service asks for your login code, seed phrase or a payment through a Telegram chat.
