The portal, not the record. A page that will not load, a payment taken for an i-RTC that did not download, a service that errors out: those are theirs. A name, an extent or a crop entry that is wrong in the RTC is changed only at the taluk office.

Through mutation at the taluk office, with the village accountant. Carry the sale deed or the succession document, your identity proof and a copy of the current RTC. The portal will show the new name once the mutation is approved there.

Do not pay a second time. Sign back into the citizen portal and check the RTC under your account first. If the money left your account and no copy was issued, write to [email protected] with the survey number, the date and the payment reference.

Viewing on the Bhoomi portal is free. A digitally signed i-RTC is Rs 15 a copy, and the fee is the same whichever district the land is in.

The Mojini side of the department, at bhoomojini.karnataka.gov.in, takes applications for 11E, podi and alienation sketches and shows their status. Raise sketch questions there, since the Bhoomi cell handles the land records portal.
