Call 1800 220 088 or 1800 220 229, both toll-free. From a paid line, use 022 40429127. Then check that no new transactions appear.

Raise a service request at your Bank of India branch, or email the details to [email protected] or the Card Products Department. The same route changes the address or email ID on the card. SMS alerts reach you only when the card carries your current number.

Block the card first. Then email the transaction date, amount and card details to [email protected] for a Visa card, or [email protected] for a Mastercard.
