Tata 1mg is an online pharmacy and health platform that is part of the Tata group, which took a majority stake in it in 2021. It brings three things together in one app:

medicine ordering with home delivery, including prescription drugs
lab tests with sample collection at home
online doctor consultations and drug information

People also use it just to look up what a medicine does or find a cheaper generic substitute. Its delivery and test booking load is heaviest in the mornings and during seasonal illness waves, when chemist demand rises everywhere at once.
