Spotify says it does not offer support by phone. Open its Contact us page and choose Message us, and a customer service expert replies. The Spotify Community also answers common problems.

Go to your account page and select Cancel plan. Premium stays until the next billing date, then the account turns free with your playlists kept. If the plan came through your mobile or internet provider, cancel it with them. Still charged? Check Payment on the account page to see whether the cancellation went through.

You can cancel any time and keep Premium until the period ends. Spotify cannot refund gift cards bought in a shop or Premium paid through a partner; those go back to the store or the partner.

Wait 24 to 48 hours. Spotify's UPI help page says the bank can take that long to process it, and that the amount is refunded automatically if Premium still does not activate.

Real Spotify mail comes from an address ending in @spotify.com and never asks for your password or payment details. Forward anything suspicious to [email protected], then delete it.

Reset your password in a private window, then choose Sign out everywhere on the account page; it can take up to an hour to apply. Also remove access for connected apps under Manage apps.
