About HRTC
From outside Himachal Pradesh, the Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) helpline is toll-free 1800 180 8185; inside the state HRTC gives 1100. Its enquiry desk at ISBT Tutikandi, Shimla answers on 0177 2657326, and the Delhi and Chandigarh ISBT desks have their own lines.
Write to [email protected] for the helpline. If money was debited but no ticket appeared in your booking history, mail [email protected] giving the card holder name, transaction amount and date. Both are Gmail addresses, and HRTC publishes them on its own pages.

No. HRTC cancels e-tickets online only: log in and use Print/Cancel, or use the guest cancel page with your ticket number and mobile number. Counters cannot cancel an e-ticket.
[email protected] for the helpline, and [email protected] for a failed payment. For a refund, give the card holder's name, the amount and the date of the transaction.
No. If the e-ticket shows in your booking history, you can travel by showing it on a phone or laptop, as long as you carry an ID proof.
HRTC processes a failed-payment refund within 7 to 10 days of your mail to [email protected], and your bank then takes 3 to 4 days to show it.
If a technical problem stops the bus, HRTC lets you travel in another HRTC bus or refunds the rest of the journey.
